Easter Egg Hunt April 07
|
Partnering with the Family Support Network, the Down Syndrome Support Group of B/CS threw a Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 31 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Sue Haswell Park on William J. Bryan Parkway. Children with disabilities are invited to enjoy games, moonwalk and an Easter egg hunt at 1:30 after lunch of hot dogs and drinks. Admission requires one dozen candy-filled plastic eggs and a side dish or dessert.

Blue Bell Creamery Field Trip July 07
|
Partnering with the Family Support Network, the Down Syndrome Support Group of B/CS went to Blue Bell Cremery and aquactic center on July 9, 2007. Children with disabilities enjoyed tour the creamery, eating ice cream and going swimming at the aquatic center in Brenham

Back to School Bash Aug 07
|
Partnering with the Family Support Network, the Down Syndrome Support Group of B/CS had a dance with dinner to celebrate the end of summer on August 17, 2007. We had Travis Rollins from Texas Entertainment provide the music for the dance.

Camp Life - Oct 07
|
Thanks to Family Support Network for having Camp LIFE at Camp for All. Our kids were able to attend the camp during the weekend of Oct 19-21, 2007.

4th Annual Buddy Walk - Oct 07
|
The Down Syndrome Support Group of B/CS held the 4th Annual Buddy Walk on October 21, 2007 at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. We raised over $25,000 to be able to give new parents - new parent packets, send kids to camp, have monthly meetings, have social events for children and adults with Down syndrome. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Buddy Walk.
